WHY SHOULD YOU VOLUNTEER?
“Baily is a Student Leader who helped set things up at her school, and she was there everyday from the beginning. I honestly didn’t expect to see her over the summer, but my wife and I were volunteering as counselors at Appalachian Christian Camp, and she ended up being in the sports group I help lead.
Throughout the week, we got to reconnect in a totally different setting, and then something really special happened. One of the camp directors, Ben, came to me with Bailey and said she wanted to be baptized. That alone was incredible , but then Bailey looked at me and said, ‘I want you to do it.’ I was honestly blown away.
There are days when that 45-minute drive to the school feels long and hard, but that moment reminded me exactly why we do it. Every mile, every early morning, every small act of showing up, God is using it all. Thank you for your willingness and desire to volunteer at your local First Priority Club! Let’s get you started on your journey to helping students.
Click the “Begin Now” button at the bottom of this page. You will be directed to the First Priority Club app. Use your phone number to start your account or resume where you left off. This app is also very helpful in organizing your Club.
Next, fill out a commitment form and background check request (if necessary depending on your role). Every adult who steps foot on campus must have a commitment on file in our app and a cleared background check. Both of these can be completed through the button below.
Lastly, you must complete and pass our child safety training if necessary for your role.
The First Priority Cub app will navigate you through this process with ease and make sure you have everything on file needed to volunteer.
